Hello beautiful!
I'm super shy and admittedly, not much of a writer, so you may not hear from me very often, but I thought it was about time that I introduce myself :)
My name is Lana. I am one of the founders of Starlit. Starlit is a small family owned and run business, and the idea for this little venture of mine was born when I went through some difficult health issues (on top of some other stuff! Sometimes when it rains, it pours!). We have all been through times in our lives where things are challenging, and life can just feel altogether overwhelming.
Dreaming of something fun, challenging (in the good way this time) and exciting was a huge distraction from the stress of what was my current reality. To me, Starlit is about seeing the light through the darkness. It's about the little things we can do to make ourselves feel better in the moment. A fresh, fun, sparkly manicure that is quick and easy to apply is fun, relaxing and therapeutic to me, and always manages to make my day feel just that little bit brighter. Our beautiful new range of motivational/inspirational bracelets work in much the same way. When I look down to admire my sparkly manicure (which is way more often than I would like to admit) I catch a glimpse of the message on my bracelet - which reminds me to be grateful, to be strong, to be kind, to be grounded, and sometimes, to just to keep moving forward.
We all need to keep dreaming and focused on our plans, big or small, to keep us going through the twists and turns of life. Even if the ultimate goal is just making the bed in the morning, or getting through the day without killing someone! (only half kidding haha)
